Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about BAZY, website audits, LLMO, and AI optimization.

What is BAZY?+

BAZY (getbazy.com) is a free AI-powered website audit tool that scans your site across 9 dimensions — SEO, performance, security, accessibility, design system, content quality, AI readiness, mobile experience, and brand consistency — and gives you a score with actionable fixes. BAZY is a software product, not to be confused with any other company sharing the name.

Is BAZY free?+

The website scan is completely free. No signup, no credit card. Competitive analysis and advanced features like design direction suggestions will be paid features in the future.

How long does a scan take?+

A typical scan completes in 15-45 seconds depending on the size of your website. BAZY crawls up to 20 pages and runs 9 scanners in parallel. You'll see first results within 3-5 seconds as scanners complete progressively.

What is a website audit?+

A website audit is a comprehensive health check of your site. It examines your SEO tags, page speed, security headers, accessibility compliance, design consistency, content quality, and more. Think of it as a medical checkup for your website.

What is LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)?+

LLMO is the practice of optimizing your website so AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can understand and cite your content. It involves structured data (JSON-LD), llms.txt files, answer-first content, and FAQ schemas. It's the SEO of the AI era.

What is AIO (AI Optimization)?+

AIO is the umbrella term for making your website visible to AI-powered search systems — including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Bing Copilot. It combines traditional SEO with LLMO-specific practices like structured data and direct-answer content patterns.

What's a good website score?+

90-100 is excellent (A/A+), 80-89 is good (B+), 70-79 is solid (B), 60-69 is average (C+), and below 50 needs urgent attention (D/F). Most websites we scan score between 55-75. The average is about 65.

Does BAZY access my server or database?+

No. BAZY only scans publicly accessible web pages — the same pages any visitor or search engine can see. We don't access admin panels, databases, or server files. We crawl your site the same way Google does.

Why do I need to enter my work email?+

Your work email must match your website domain to verify you're authorized to scan that site. This prevents abuse and ensures scan results go to the right people. We don't spam or sell your email.

How is BAZY different from Lighthouse or PageSpeed Insights?+

Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights only check performance and basic SEO. BAZY checks 9 dimensions including design system consistency, AI readiness (LLMO), brand consistency, and content quality. We also extract your actual color palette and fonts, and provide competitive analysis.

What is a design system audit?+

BAZY's design system scanner analyzes your website's visual consistency — how many colors you use, how many fonts, whether your buttons and navigation look the same across pages, whether you use CSS design tokens, and whether you support dark mode and responsive design.

Can BAZY fix the issues it finds?+

Currently BAZY identifies issues and tells you exactly how to fix them. We're building automated fix capabilities — connecting to your GitHub repo or CMS to open pull requests or create drafts with the fixes applied. This is coming in Phase 2.

What is llms.txt?+

llms.txt is an emerging standard — a plain text file at your domain root (like robots.txt) that describes your product, features, and key pages in a format optimized for AI consumption. Sites with llms.txt are more likely to be cited in AI-generated answers.

How does competitive analysis work?+

Enter your website and up to 2 competitor URLs. BAZY scans all sites in parallel across 9 dimensions and produces a side-by-side comparison table with per-category winners, qualitative insights, and page count analysis.
